Kitchen Remodel 2009 – with CASH!
Original kitchen (installed 20 years ago)
This year’s big project was a kitchen remodel. The work began on Monday June 8th, 2009 after planning and saving for almost a year. I can’t say we sacrified as much as others but we are paying CASH. There were no long vacations, large purchases, or things on our “wish list” – just the kitchen. There is an extra layer of comfort knowing that all the materials, supplies, and labor are already paid for. Even the take-out food has been planned in the budget while our kitchen is out-of-order. And the companies we are working with are happy to have the business in this slow time. Very happy.
